A Short Intermission

Deb:

I spent the weekend at the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI) Western Washington Chapter Spring Conference in Bellevue, Washington. Although I had a wonderful time and met some terrific people, I am exhausted. Therefore, I'm a little behind on my blogging. Freckles spent the weekend being spoiled by Nice Guy, so she's been too busy to think about blogging. We'll be back with our story in a day or two.

So many bunnies left with such marginal help!!!

Ah Bellevue ... the land of Cranes!!! We were just there on a quick trip-and-back today. Still a very pretty place but it is sure getting BIG! I think we saw at least 7 tall cranes just from the freeway there.

Hi Deb!! It was wonderful meeting you this weekend! I know what you mean about being exhausted. I came home all inspired and wanting to write, but I can't seem to find the energy to make it happen.

Say hi to Freckles for me. He's adorable. I think my cats might like to be his friend. Or eat him, not sure which.

I think I've caught my breath now and will return to the blog with the next episode tomorrow!

Rabbits' Guy -- You are right about those cranes! There was so much construction of REALLY big buildings in Bellevue that we had to detour around and go through a tunnel to get to the conference center!

Linda -- It was great to meet you, too! I made so many terrific new writer friends (children's writers are a FUN group of people -- maybe because we've never really grown up :-)

Archi's Mum and Angel -- Thanks for your patience!

See you tomorrow!
Deb
