Safety in an Unsecured Room

Deb:

Occasionally we'd used a child safety gate across the doorway to make sure that Freckles doesn't enter an area we hadn't yet bunny-proofed. Because she never came into the kitchen, dining room, or family room, we'd given up installing the gate. It now leaned against the wall next to the doorway. The family room being a place where I have NOT covered cords or made sure anything chewable was safe and inexpensive, I carefully watched Freckles to make sure she didn't get near the computer cords.

When she awoke from her nap, she didn't notice the cords or the books on the bottom shelf of the bookcase. The object that drew her attention was the safety gate itself. She scurried right over and hopped behind it, safely hidden from everyone's view!

Freckles is getting adventurous! Will you now put up the gate or rather bunnyproof the family room?

This bunny is just a bundle of surprises! I can hardly wait to see what she does next.

Heard any chewing yet? That gate looks pretty good!
