How it all began...Nice Guy Appears

One day Nice Guy showed up. I noticed it looking in all the little caves. When it reached mine, it stopped. It stared at me for a moment and then talked to me. I don’t know what it said, but its voice had a pleasant low tone. I took a chance and hopped over to the door. Nice Guy put its finger through the sticks and petted my nose. Nice! I closed my eyes and wished it would pet my nose forever. But, it stopped and walked away. I huddled back in my corner. I could hear Nice Guy speaking to the thing with the high voice for a long time. I kept my right ear pointed in their direction.
