Hidden Box

The other day I’d received an item I’d ordered that was packed in a lot of paper. Not newspaper, but beautiful light paper with no ink. I was going to recycle the paper and the box, but then thought of Freckles and wondered if she would like to play with it. However, the doorbell rang and I shoved the box and paper behind the planter to get it out of the way. I’d totally forgotten that it was there, until I saw Freckles searching out adventure behind the planter.
