Welcome and Acceptance?

Deb:

I'd done it now.

My son and husband carried the beautiful new storage ottoman/ coffee table into the living room and placed it in front of the couch. Freckles watched them with ears at full alert and narrowed eyes. She rushed over as though welcoming a new friend. However, one sniff and she backed up and stared.

This was going to take some work. How do you bond a bunny and a piece of furniture?

I was sure that with a little time Freckles would forget about the old table and come to accept the new one.

Reminds me of when I replaced the chair in my office that Gus used to always sit on. There will be a period of intense disapproval, then eventually, acceptance. (Possibly also some chewing and/or chin rubbing to make sure the new item isn't secretly a big edible treat, of course.)

She is so adorable - even with the death glare

This one does not have fun shelves!! Freckles looks most displeased.

P.S. From one human to another, I LOVE it! So practical!!
