Freckles:Ray was gone.
He’d left without letting me know what danger might lurk around the corner.
He’d left before I had a chance to ask him to stay for awhile.
He’d just taken off.
“Nice knowing you,” he'd said. He didn't know me. We barely said, “Hi.” Hmmmpf! So that's what guys are like -- drop in and run away! Well, who needs ‘em anyway! I decided that what I really needed was a nap.

I always figured Freckles to be an independent girl-bun, no sobbing and wailing, just a goood nap!

Heffy insists all guy buns aren't like that, he says his daddy can be but he is not, he'll be in his cage if you need him

A nap is good. And maybe when you wake up Ray is back?
